I have created Author:J. H. Thorpe since it was needed. Nothing to go on except the list of articles, nonconformist religious folk where I have looked. Charles Matthews (talk) 10:13, 26 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

Quick search finds not at Cambridge nor Oxford. Nothing evident in some of the other sources that I check. Dunno is my short answer. billinghurst sDrewth 11:43, 26 January 2010 (UTC)Reply
I can offer John Henry Thorpe, vicar in Stockport, archdeacon of Macclesfield, father of w:John Henry Thorpe. He was of Irish background and a graduate of Trinity College, Dublin. May have died around 1919. Charles Matthews (talk) 09:14, 28 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

To the proposal, in vol. 6 it doesn't say Rev which makes me suspicious, though, not conclusive either way. billinghurst sDrewth 12:04, 29 January 2010 (UTC)Reply
Young to be writing the Bs, but not impossibly so. Unclear. Charles Matthews (talk) 16:18, 29 January 2010 (UTC)Reply
