I can find zilch for Author:James Taylor Kay. No evidence of attending Cambridge or Oxford. Parked -- billinghurst (talk) 11:45, 23 December 2008 (UTC)
- I'd say this is J. Taylor Kay, librarian of Owens College, Manchester. JTK wrote the 1895 DNB bio of John Owens, the Manchester merchant whose will left money for Owens College to be founded, & various librarianly bits & pieces. I can't find dates for him.
