Relation: Author:Andrew Lang (b. 1844), son of John & Jane Plenderleith Seller Lang. Brother of John Lang (who was married to Jean (Jeanie) Lang). I believe John and Jean also had a daughter named Jean, for an online search came up with a reference where Andrew writes to his niece Jeanie Lang.

Jane's husband John was about four years younger than his brother Andrew, which would put his birthdate ca. 1848/9, as per a 1851 England Census record showing Andrew 6ys and brother John 2yrs. Londonjackbooks (talk) 22:05, 24 August 2011 (UTC)
