Works by this author are in the public domain in the United Kingdom (the author was British so this includes most of her works) as Maude D. Petre died in 1942; in 1992 the copyright term in Great Britain was 50 years, and thus it expired. This only affects the copyright for this author, some of her works were collaborative and other authors' rights must be considered as well.
