@Billinghurst:, I have validated a few pages of this work. However, as I have gone through, I made a few changes which I initially thought were corrections, but I'm realizing may have reflected a legitimate choice on your part -- mainly, around how hyphenated words across pages are handled, and footer contents, and so forth. I don't find anything at Wikisource:Hyphenation or Help:Hyphenation, so I'm wondering if you could tell me a bit about your choices, or direct me to a page that lays out the various options. Trying to help, but worried I might be making a mess. -Pete (talk) 02:29, 31 August 2016 (UTC)Reply

@Peteforsyth: The HWS/HWE pair are an easy way to explain to users how we manage hyphenation at the end of a page. We don't have to overly explain footers, headers, noinclude, includonly, just "here is the solution" and it is perfectly okay way to train newbies. My traditional wiki method (or non-use of HWS) achieves the same result of not transcluding the component and maintaining the desired look, and I don't have to bother with the word on the next page. It doesn't have the fakeness, so I don't use it. — billinghurst sDrewth 06:43, 31 August 2016 (UTC)Reply
Ah, that makes sense. Thanks for breaking that down, @Billinghurst:. -Pete (talk) 07:23, 31 August 2016 (UTC)Reply
