Notes edit

Quotations/excerpts

Please format quotations and excerpts with <blockquote></blockquote> rather than making the text smaller. — billinghurst sDrewth 23:36, 3 January 2013 (UTC)Reply

sup edit

{{sup}} results in smaller font size. Both {{sup}} and are used in this text. Should one be decided upon? Londonjackbooks (talk) 13:41, 6 January 2013 (UTC)Reply

Appendix 4 edit

I have kept the formatting simple. If we wish to put in a right pointing brace, then we will have to add a third column (as column 2), utilise {{brace2}} and width restrict the table to maintain the brace height with regard to a restrained row height. I can do it the other way if people think that it is a necessity. At this stage, I don't see that it is. It is a width restricted typography due to being small sized work. — billinghurst sDrewth 23:20, 6 January 2013 (UTC)Reply

I wouldn't care if the braces were dropped entirely. Moondyne (talk) 02:52, 7 January 2013 (UTC)Reply
I've validated the pages as not requiring the braces. I see them as a typographical device on a short page. Beeswaxcandle (talk) 03:06, 7 January 2013 (UTC)Reply

I guess that li is £ (or is it guineas?), s is shillings, d is pence. What does j represent in Roman numerals? Moondyne (talk) 02:52, 7 January 2013 (UTC)Reply

At this time j was often used instead of i at the end of a numeral. Beeswaxcandle (talk) 03:05, 7 January 2013 (UTC)Reply
Ah. Thanks. Moondyne (talk) 03:45, 7 January 2013 (UTC)Reply
