If someone is able to wiki link this list for the purposes of inclusion on the Index page itself I would be most grateful. It would also be helpful if someone was to Wikilink names and refferences in the text itself.

Images edit

I'm adding png images cropped from the scanned pages. Images are at commons:Category:The Elements of Euclid for the Use of Schools and Colleges. Some of the images added before I started working on this are svg images. The images actually in this book are nowhere near that crisp... but I am cleaning up a few ink blots here and there. Images on pages 2-31 and page 60 are svg or other modern and crisp images. I've uploaded png images cropped from the scanned pages to Commons, if needed. Outlier59 (talk) 22:27, 9 April 2016 (UTC)Reply
The earlier images were SVG because wayback someone had volunteered to make crisp geometric versions of the figures, but as happens the complete set was never done, and I don;t know what tools were being used to do them. It might be worth uploading the PNG versions of those figure for consistency, even if means a slight quality drop. -- User:ShakespeareFan00 22:40, 29 May 2016 (UTC)Reply
I'll do that soon, I think. Who sent that comment? Outlier59 (talk) 01:50, 31 May 2016 (UTC)Reply

Pages proofread before being labeled "problematic" for missing image(s) edit

While adding images to "problematic" pages, I'm generally checking the page edit history and restoring the page to "proofread" status if it was previously proofread. I have not proofread the pages myself. Many pages were proofread in 2008 and tagged "problematic" in 2013. These pages probably require clean up during validation, -- especially headers, line breaks, "nop", and right-justified bracketed notes in the text. Formatting edit

@ShakespeareFan00: Some formatting rules should be established for this book.

The latest complicated revision to Page 7 doesn't seem to add much except float the note to the right. The formatting is much more complicated than necessary. So I did a test layout on Page 194. The right-floated notes on a narrow screen don't line up properly unless they are inserted at the beginning of the statement, rather than at the end. It makes the editing a tad more confusing, but if each statement is treated as a separate paragraph, I think it should be clear.

Can you take a look at Page 7 and Page 194 -- and maybe one or two other pages -- and format them as sample pages for the whole book? It would help to have this decided before more editing is done. Outlier59 (talk) 21:03, 4 June 2016 (UTC)Reply

Page 195 -- here's an example of right-floating at the beginning of the line. It also lines up incorrectly on a narrow screen, so it might not be worth the extra work to move all the notes. Outlier59 (talk) 22:47, 4 June 2016 (UTC)Reply
In respect of Page 7 you'll have to ask however did that formatting, I didn't. ShakespeareFan00 (talk) 00:15, 5 June 2016 (UTC)Reply
