In this work, character names and stage directions are in normal text; speech is in blackletter. In the transcription, for improved ease of reading, character names and stage directions are rendered in italic text and speech in normal text.

Layout edit

Character names are rendered on a separate line. Speech follows on the next line (no gap). At the end of a speech, a blank line is inserted ahead of the next character name.

Stage directions are centered. Where they occur between speeches, a blank line is left before and after. Where they occur within a speech, no blank lines are left.

Spelling edit

The text is transcribed 'as-is', retaining non-standard punctuation and archaic spellings (e.g. the use of 'u' for'v' and 'i' for 'j'). The only changes are to render 'vv' as 'w' (if there are any) and &#U+017F; as 's'.

Page numbering edit

Pages are unnumbered.
