Bankes, Wynne Albert, B.A., Trin. Hall, Camb., 1864, midshipman R.N., served in Baltic and Black Seas 1854-5 (two medals and a clasp), J.P., D.L. Dorset, a student of the Inner Temple 8 Nov., 1864 (then aged 24), called to the bar 11 June, 1867 (6th son of late Rt. Hon. George Bankes, late of Kingston Lacy, Wimborne, Dorset, dec.); born 31 May, 1840; married 10 Sept., 1873, Florence Mary Anna, 2nd dau. of Rev. Frederick Fane, of Moyles Court, Hants (see Foster's Peerage, E. Westmorland).
