Yorks North Riding, a student of the Middle Temple 1 March, 1842, called to the bar 6 June, 1845 (2nd son of late Calverley Bewicke-Bewicke, Esq., of Close House, Northumberland, dec.); born 15 May, 1818; married 23 Feb., 1854, Mary, dau. of Rev. William Gooch, canon of York, rector of Benacre, etc., and has issue (see Foster's Baronetage, Gooch).
