Brougham, James Rigg, a registrar of the bankruptcy court since 1862, joint registrar Liverpool district bankruptcy court 185‒–62, a student of Lincoln's Inn 4 June, 1845 (then aged 19), called to the bar 11 June, 1850 (4th son of John Waugh Brougham, Esq., of Edinburgh); born 5 May, 1826; married 4 Oct., 1854, Isabella Eliza, dau. of late John Cropper, of Dingle Bank, Liverpool, and has issue (see Foster's Peerage).
