Croft, Henry Herbert Stephen, M.A., Trin. Coll., Camb., 1867, a registrar for trial of municipal election petitions, a member of the South-eastern circuit, a student of the Inner Temple 19 April, 1864 (then aged 22), called to the bar 26 Jan., 1871 (only son of late Rev. Stephen Croft, of St. Mary's, Stoke, Suffolk); bom 22 Feb., 1842; married 11 March, 1876, Emma, dau. of Mr. Robert Kearse, of New Brighton, Cheshire, and has issue (see Foster's Baronetage).
