Yorks hussars yeomanry since 1883, a student of the Inner Temple 7 June, 1875 (then aged 21), called to the bar 7 May, 1879 (7th son of William Henry, Viscount Downe, of Baldersby Park, Yorks); born 11 Dec., 1853 (see Foster's Peerage).
