Coll., Camb., 1835. from Eton, clerk of assize on the South-eastern circuit since 1876, on the Home circuit 1840-76, member of council of Univ. of London, heir presumptive to Lord Denman, a student of Lincoln's Inn 13 April, 1835 (then aged 21), called to the bar 8 May, 1838 (3rd son of Thomas, Lord Denman, then chief justice King's Bench); born 13 Jan., 1814; married 28 Oct., 1840, Emma, youngest dau. of Hugh Jones, Esq., of Larkhill, co. Lanc., and has issue (see Foster's Peerage).
