Wigtown, a student of the Inner Temple 4 May, 1865 (then aged 22), called to the bar 30 April, 1869 (eldest son of Sir William Dunbar, of Mochrum, co. Wigtown, Bart., M.P.); born 26 Feb., 1843; married 20 April, 1882, Lucy Blanche Cordelia, eldest dau. of Charles Thomas Constantine Grant, Esq., of Kilgraston, co. Perth (see Foster's Baronetage).
