Mason, Robert Harvey, B.A., Trin. Coll., Camb., 1865, an Etonian, J.P. Norfolk, assumed the surname of Mason by royal licence 1879 and discontinued the use of his patronymic in 1880, a student of the Inner Temple 30 Jan., 1864 (then aged 21), called to the bar 26 Jan., 1867 (eldest son of Robert Blake Humfrey, Esq., of Wrexham House, Norfolk); born 29 Jan., 1843; married , 1873, Jane Charlotte, eldest dau. of Rev. Arthur Wilson Upcher, and has issue (see Foster's Peerage, E. Kimberley).
