Redman, Joseph Haworth, a member of the Oxford circuit, author of A Treatise on the Law of Railway Companies as Carriers, The Law of Arbitrations and Awards, The Law of Husband and Wife, joint author of The Law of Landlord and Tenant and The Law of Bills of Sale, etc., a student of the Middle Temple 15 April, 1867, called to the bar 26 Jan., 1870 (only son of Joseph Redman, Esq., of Copthorne House, Shrewsbury, formerly of Bacup, co. Lanc.); born 11 April, 1846; married 16 Sept., 1880, Eliza, widow of Thomas Charlton, Esq., and dau. of Edward Evans, Esq., both of Shrewsbury.
