Perth, a judge of court of session); born 23 Jan., 1803; married 1st, 9 Aug., 1838, Margaret, eldest dau. of James Walker, Esq., of London, F.R.S.; she died 17 Dec., 1846; he married 2ndly, 20 Feb., 1849, Emily, dau. of late Genl. Sir John Oswald, G.C.B., of Dunnikier, co. Fife, and has issue.
