they drink wine out of the same cup, after the wedding day spent in feasting, congratulations, and general hilarity by their mutual friends and relations. If not entirely satisfied with the choice in which they have had no part, it is certainly too late to repent, and they have only to “make the best of it,”—a conclusion which sensible in other lands sometimes arrive at when they have entered into the marriage relation with eyes wide open, as they suppose, but in reality closely bandaged by that blind little imp and match maker, Cupid.
