Somerset, England, 3rd December, 1S38 ; m. first, 7th JVlay, 1861, Emily, fourth daughter of Thomas Morris, late of Stone House, Stone, near Worcester, and secondly, at Brisbane, 23rd December, 1889, Isabella, daughter of the late John Grahame, of Sherburne Lodge, Glebe, Sydney, and has with other issue, four sons, I. George Rogers, 6. 19th April, 1868. II. Walter Charles, h. 2Utli November, 1870. III. Francis Arundel, 6. 18th August, 1872. IV. Thomas William Amyas, h. 3rd March, 1882. Mr. Justice Harding was educated at Magdalen College, Cambridge ; was called to the bar at Lincoln's Inn, 1861 ; arrived in Queensland, October, 1866; the same month was called to the Queensland bar; in April, 1876, v^as appointed a commissioner under the Civil Procedure Reform Act of 1872; and appointed a Judge of the Supreme Court, 14th July, 1879. Ho is the author of treatises on the following subjects relating to Queensland law: — A time table of "proceedings under the Judicature Act ; The Acts aiid Orders relating to the Jurisdiction, Practice arid Pleading of the Supreme Court (Ciiil side) ; The Acts and Orders relating to the Jurisdiction, Practice and Pleading of the Supreme Court (Crown side) ; The Acts and Orders relating to Joint Stock Companies ; The Acts and Orders relating to Insolvency, and the Settled Land Act of 1886 ; and is also autlior of a treati.>;e on .1 Ilnndij Book of Ecclesiastical Late, relating to English Law.
