-ACATION-SCHOOL TEACHERS: Just a few lines to let you know that I am one of the many mothers in this district who think that the vacation school has been a wonderful success. It has taught morals and manners to our children. We never could afford to take our children into the country, and we can't be thankful enough for the good you teachers have done to our children. They have been kept off the Ptreets, and we don't have to drive them to school. The teachers have treated the children as though they were their own. The children never get tired tell- ing us what they saw on the excursions. Hoping that a vacation school will be in every school

The above letter, taken from among two hundred commenda- tory letters from parents relative to the vacation-school move- ment, tells the whole story. What further evidence is needed to convince those who gave service or money to the cause that their labors were appreciated and their money well spent !
