Terns.—Sterna hirundo, or Sea Swallow.
Gulls.—Larus canus.
Tarrocks.—Larus tridactylus.

Gray Choughs.—Corvus Graculus, Cornish Choughs, or, as these birds are called by the Sussex people, Saddle-backed Crows, build in great numbers on this coast.
