Avery, Clinton, Missouri, May, 1885; admitted to Missouri Bar, 1880; practiced at Clinton until 1897; prior to that time was Prosecuting Attorney, Henry County; Republican candidate for Governor of Missouri, 1896; Judge of Fourth Judicial District, Colorado, 1903-06; United States District Judge (Colorado) since 1906.

Born, Jackson, Tennessee, November 25, 1869; admitted to Bar, 1894; married Henrietta Brevoort, December, 1913; Judge of Denver Juvenile Court since 1901; originator of Juvenile Court system; author of numerous laws respecting juveniles, including contributory delinquency law, etc.; candidate for Governor of Colorado, 1906; member Progressive National Committee, 1912; lecturer and author.
