9 O Lord our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth!

PSAL. IX.

1 Dauid prayſeth God for executing of iudgement. 11 He inciteth others to prayſe him. 13 Hee prayeth, that hee may haue cauſe to prayſe him.

I wil praiſe thee, O Lord, with my whole heart: I will ſhewe foorth all thy workes.

2 I will bee glad and reioyce in thee: I will ſing prayſe to thy name, O thou moſt high.

3 When mine enemies are turned backe, they ſhall fall and periſh at thy preſence.

4 For †Hebr.thou haſt made my iudgement. thou haſt maintained my right, and my cauſe: thou ſateſt in the throne iudging †Hebr.in righteouſnes right.

5 Thou haſt rebuked the heathen, thou haſt deſtroyed the wicked; thou haſt put out their name for euer and euer.
