Aircraft

The Douglas DC-3, NC 33631, was properly certificated. It had flown a total of 17,532 hours with about 6, 524, hours since the last major 7 overhaul. It was equipped with two Wright Cyclone C-202A engines with 3,684 and 217 hours respectively for the left and right engines and 217 hours since the last overhaul. Hamilton Standard hydromatic propellers were installed. On departure from Savannah the total weight and the load distribution were within approved limits.
