Thomas Powlett Orde Powlett, who was 2nd son of the 1st Baron. Born Feb. 24th, 1818; succeeded his uncle 1850; is a Dep. Lieut and a Magistrate for the North Riding of York- shire, and a Magistrate for Southampton (co.) : married (1844) his cousin, Letitia, youngest daughter of Colonel Crawfurd, of Newfield, Ayrshire, and has issue, living, Love loyalty. Sons.-William Thomas, b. 1845; educated at Eton, and at Trinity College, Cambridee: appointed Capt. in the Yorkshire (Princess of Wales's Own) Hussars 1872; is a Ma- gistrate and Dep.
