April, 5, 1802, and was summoned in 1832 to the House of Lords as Baron Grey of Groby : m. 1824, Lady Kath- erine Charteris, daughter of the /th Earl of Wemyss, (she d. 1844) : and d. 1834, having had issue a son and a daughter. His lordship's predecessor in the Earldoms of Stamlord and Warrington was his grandfather, George Harry, 6th Earl. He was b. Oct. 31, 1/65, and suc- ceeded his father, May 23, 1812 } was Lord Lieut, and Custos Rotulorum of Cheshire : m.Dec. 23, 1797, the Hon.
