May 28, 1809, Lucy Louisa, daughter of John Heys, Esq. of Upper Sunbury ; and d. Jan. 6, 1833, having issue two sons and two daughters. Her ladyship d. in 1846

WOLVERTON, BARON. (Glyn.)

George Grenfell Glyn, P.C., 2nd Baron. Born Feb. 10th, 1824; succeeded his father in 1873; educated at Rugby, and at University College, Oxford. Is a partner in the eminent banking firm of Glyn, Mills, Currie & Co., and Chairman of the Railway Clearing House. Sat as M.P. for Shafresbury (L.) 1857–73. Was one of the Joint Secretaries to the Treasury 1868–73. Married (1848) Georgiana Maria, daughter of the Rev. George Tufnell.

Brothers living, Henry Carr, C.B, heir presumptive, b. 1829; educated at Rugby; is a Capt. R.N.; commanded H. M. S. "Doris" 1867, "Agincourt" 1869, and "Warrior" 1870–71 ; appointed to the command of the "Serapis," 1875. Served as Lieut, of "Britannia ;" in Black Sea and Crimea 1854–55 (medal and clasps) ; was sent to the Danube to assist Omar Pasha, in May, June, and July, 1854,—and has Gold Medal from Turkish Government for distinguished services there. Has the Order of the Medjidie, 4th class ; Appointed Aide-de-Camp to Her Majesty 1873: m. 1858, Rose—who d.' 1870 daughter of the late Denis Mahony, of Dromore, co.
