gasbag 'g3es,baeg n. [also spelt gastbagl a bag for holding gas; specifically, the bag or receptacle made of silk or other material, and its immediate connections and appurtenances, forming the most conspicuous part of most balloons and dirigibles.

gas-balloon 'gaes-ba^uun n. a balloon or gasbag which is inflated with gas; a coal-gas balloon; a hydrogen-balloon : as, the separate *gas-balloons of a Zeppelin airship.
