THE following account of the early years of the Emperor BONAPARTE, is from the pen of a Noble Emigrant who was, for ſome time, his ſchool companion. It was tranſlated by a moſt reſpectable Gentleman to whom the French author is intimately known as a man of unimpeached probity, candour, and good ſenſe; and therefore the narrative may be conſidered authentic. The work, from which it is extracted appeared in print ſome time ago, but was immediately called in after publication, for reaſons which now no longer exiſt. It appeared in the Kelſo Mail, the editor of which ſays, he had it from the tranſlator.
