John Bullingham had this dignity conferred on him and was installed 27th Dec. 1567, vice Beaumont. He resigned in 1576. Bishop of Gloucester in 1581.
Robert Condall, S.T.B., was collated 27th Oct. 1576.
Nathan Clifford, collated 20th July 1612.
Matthew Giffard, A.M., was installed 23rd Aug. 161280. He died in 1615.
William Laud, S.T.P., was collated 19th Dec. 1615: void by the death of M. Giffard81. Bishop of St. David's in 1621.
Owen Gwyn, S.T.P., was installed 8th July 1622: void by the promotion of Laud82. He died in 1633, and was buried 23rd June in the chapel of the college of St. John, Cambridge.
Richard Holdsworth, S.T.P., was collated 7th Nov. 1633, and installed 12th Jan. 1633-4: void by the death of Gwyn83. He died 22nd June 1649, ætat. 5884, and was buried in the parish church of St. Peter le Poor, London. His will is in the Prerogative Office of Canterbury85.
Peter Mew, LL.D., was collated 19th Nov. 1649, but he was not installed till 12th Sept. 166086. He resigned in 1665.
William Johnson, S.T.P., was collated 18th March 1665-6: void by the resignation of P. Mew87. He died 4th March 1666-7, ætat. 57, and was buried in Westminster abbey88.
Henry Downhall, S.T.P., collated 27th April 1667, and installed 3rd June 1667: void by the death of W. Johnson89. He died in Dec. 1669.
Richard Perrincheif, S.T.P., was collated 29th Mar. 1670, and installed 20th April: void by the death of
