William Sancroft, S.T.P., was nominated 23rd Jan. 1663—4, installed 26th Feb., and in less than a year was removed to the deanery of St. Paul's, London ^^ Robert Hitch was installed 8th March 1664-5 6^. Ob. loth Feb. 1676-7. Tobias Wickham, S.T.P., was installed 31st March 167767. He died 27th April 1697. Thomas Gale, S.T.P. The commission to the vicar- general to confirm him was issued 13th Sept., and another commission to the president of the chapter to install him i6th Sept. 1697. He died 8th April 1702^^. Henry Finch, A.M., admitted 22nd May 1702, and installed 13th June. Ob. 8th Sept. 1728. Richard Osbaldiston, 19th Sept. 1728. He resigned on being elected bishop of Carlisle in 1747. John Fountain, nominated by the King 5th Oct. 17476^. His will, dated 4th Feb. 1801, was proved 1 8th May 1802. George Markham, installed about May 1802. William Cockburn, nominated 17th Oct. 1822.
