John Weemes was installed 7th June 1634, and died in 1636. Joseph Naylor was collated i8th Nov. 1636, and died 6th Jan. 1667-8. Dennis Grenville was removed from the first prebend and installed 16th Feb. 1667-8. He was made dean in 1684, and resigned this stall. George Wheeler was appointed ist Dec. 1684 and installed on the 9th of the same month. Martin Benson was appointed 29th Jan. 1723—4. Jaques Sterne was appointed 17th May 1755. William Markham was appointed 22nd June 1759. Thomas Dampier was appointed 27th Feb. 1771. Henry Egerton, 3rd March 1773. Henry Bathurst, 6th April 1795. He became bishop of Norwich. Thomas Zouch, 26th April 1805. Henry Phillpotts, 3otli Dec. 1815. Thomas, bishop of St. DavicTsj 24th Oct. 1820. John Banks Jenkinson, bishop of St.Davicfs, 4th Aug. 1825. John Bird Sumner, 18th June 1827. Charles Thorpe, 1829. THIRD STALL. Thomas Spark, appointed 12th May 154 1, by the foundation charter. He died in 1572. John Foxe, the martyrologist, was collated 2nd Sept. and installed 14th Oct. 1572. Robert Bellamy was collated loth and installed 31st Oct. 1573. Robert Hittton was collated 6th and installed 13th Dec. 1589. He died in 1623. Gabriel Clark was collated and installed ist Aug. 1623 ; he resigned this for the first prebend in 1635.
