SOUTH MUSKHAM. This prebend was founded probably by Thomas II, archbishop of York 11 09 — 11 14: endowed with the great and certain other tithes, and certain temporals, in South Muskham. William de Markham held this prebend circa 1220- 1240^3. William de Senedon or Shendon died possessed of it in 1258 or 1259. His name occurs, as canon of Southwell, as early as 1242=^^. Thomas succeeded William de Senedon in i259'3 John de Peniston or Penyngston held it in 1295. His name occurs as canon of Southwell in 1284^^.
