Taken as a whole the book gives an accurate epitomised survey of our present knowledge of the subject treated ; natur- ally, specialists may demur to certain statements and con- clusions — but that is the fate of most books. Indian students are to be congratulated on having an instructor so learned, broad-minded and sane.
