                   Faires in January.
      The firſt Fair in the year is at Kilſyth the 1. day. S.Naugh-
    ſans fair at the town of old Meldrum the 2. tueſday, and at
    the Kırk of Bethelny in Gerry, upon the 7 day. S. Mungo in
    Glaſgow the 13 day, a fair at Dunkell and Kilwinning the
    21 day. S. Pauls fair at Turreff in Buchan the laſt tueſday
                      In February.
      At Abernethy and Forres in Murray-land called S. Brides
    day and at the town of Innerneſs, all on the day. Candle-
    maſs day in Bamff ,Dunkel, Dingwal and Dowglas the 2 day
    Candlemaſs fair at the town of Ratray, in the paroch of Cri-
    mon in Buchan the firſt tueſday after Candlemaſs, at Cow-
    per of Fife the firſt wedneſday of the moneth. Valentines
    day at Linlithgow the 14 day, and at Forfar the 15 days
    holding 8 days. Aſhwedneſdays Fair begins on Faſtens
    even at Lanerk, at Valley-field the 24 day.
                        In March.
      S.Monnence in Aberdene, Dumfermline, Abercherdene
    S.Marnoch Kirk, and Strathven the 1 day; at Pettenween
    3 day, at Dumblain the firſt wedneſday. A fair at Markinch
    the 6 day. S.Duthos in Tane of Roſs the 9 day, in Auchten-
    tull the 10 day. S.Marks fair at Innerneſs the ſame day: S.-
    Cauſnan the 1 2 day; S.Patrick in Dumbarton, and at the
    Kirk of Strageeth, and at Kirkcaldy the 16 day: in S.John-
    ſtoun the 19 day. S.Cuthbert fair in Langtoun of the Mew
    the 20 day, Lady day in Weſt-weems, Bamff, and Auch-
    termuchty the 25 day.
            whiles in March, and whiles in April.
      Palmſunday at the Kirk of Forrig, and in the town of In-
    nerneſs, and S.Johnſtoun, all upon munday thereafter. S.
    Marks fair at the town of Forres in Murray-ſhire on tueſ-
    day after Eaſter. Skirethurſday fair at the Burgh of Glaſ-
    gow, Dumbarton. Cowper of Angus otherwiſe Monks Cowper.
