He has a studio in the Ferry museum of Tacoma, Wash., of which institution he is the curator. Since 1870 he has been an active prohibitionist; in 1893 organized and was made chairman of the prohibition party of Tacoma. For several years he was editor and proprietor of the Pacific Lancet ; and is the author of several works. Ginn, Edwin, publisher, was born Feb. 14, 1838, in Orland, Maine. On leaving college he engaged in a small way in a schoolbook agency, buying his books outright, and thus was under obligations to no one.
