born Feb. 9, 1840, in Canada. He served as a surgeon in the army until the close of the civil war; and in 1872 was elected professor of surgery at Howard university of Washington, D.C. He is also clinical lecturer on surgery at the Freedman's hospital. Graham, Robert, clergyman, educator, college president, founder, was bom Aug. 14, 1822, in Liverpool, England. He was president and founder of the Arkansas college; has been president of the Kentucky university; and until 1896 was president of the college of the Bible of Lexington, Ky. He died Jan. 19, 1901, in Lexington, Ky.
