So we took likewise several materials with us for the work of planting: and so we sailed from the Downs the 13th of April, and arrived safely on the coast of Virginia, where I soon perceived my own son and my brother his father whom I had made my husband, twenty years ago, but my mother had been dead; some time before having left a considerable plantation to me and my heirs.
