⟨So⟩ long, dear Kippen! shall thy mem'ry last,
⟨Long⟩ shall thy friends think on the time that's past.

⟨Thy⟩ courage great that unsubdu'd by time,
⟨Thy⟩ actions noble, & thy thoughts sublime;
⟨Long⟩ feelings bring to every tender heart,
⟨And⟩ makes us sorry with our friend to part.
