~L^s net history of the great Augustinian Priory at Barnwell near Cambridge. It has often
been quoted, as the matter it contains is of the most varied nature and interest. Besides Professor Maitland's brilliant introductory essay the volume includes a further introduction by the editor, dealing with the manuscript and its contents, the succession of the Priors and the circumstances of the Priory.
