A & self out on station; & Jeannette, to quiet them, & find cattle; cutting Yangedes. with T & A & Harry after stallion as he had broken loose. L shooting & cleaning out well.
MAR. 1.
Making hut for Connor (shepherd) on plain, as the feed is very short & dry about home. A carting. Killed the first wether weighed 50½ lbs. Counted sheep 665, with 10 imported A decrease of 10 of late. viz. 4 lost, 2 of which are lambs not docked, 1 ewe died, 3 wethers killed, 1 lamb bitten, which we used; & the wether weighed above.
