§ 7421. When plates deemed imitation. Every plate specified in the last section shall be deemed to be in the form and similitude of the genuine instrument imitated, in either of the following cases:
1. When the engraving on such plate resembles and conforms to such parts of the genuine instrument as are engraved; or,
2. When such plate is partly finished, and the part so finished resembles and conforms to similar parts of the genuine instrument.
§ 7422. Selling forged instruments. Every person who sells, exchanges or delivers for any consideration any forged or counterfeited promissory note, check, bill, draft or other evidence of debt or engagement for the payment of money absolutely, or upon any contingency, knowing the same to be forged or counterfeited, with intent to have the same uttered or passed, or who offers any such note or other instrument for sale, exchange or delivery for any consideration, with the like knowledge and intent, or who receives any such note or other instrument upon a sale, exchange or delivery for any consideration with the like knowledge and intent, is guilty of forgery in the second decree.
§ 7423. Having same in possession. Every person who, with intent to defraud, has in his possession any forged, altered or counterfeited negotiable note, bill, draft or other evidence of debt, issued or purporting to have been issued by any corporation or company duly authorized for that purpose by the laws of this state or of any other state, government or country, the forgery of which is herein before declared to be punishable, knowing the same to be forged, altered or counterfeited, with intent to utter the same as true or as false, or to cause the same to be so uttered, is guilty of forgery in the second degree.
§ 7424. Forgery in fourth degree, Every person who has in his possession any forged or counterfeited instrument, the forgery of which is herein before declared to be punishable, other than such as are enumerated in the last section, knowing the same to be forged, counterfeited or falsely altered, with intent to injure or defraud by uttering the same as true or as false, or by causing the same to be so uttered, is guilty of forgery in the fourth degree.
§ 7425, Second degree. Issuing false certificates. Every officer, and every agent of any corporation or joint stock association formed or existing under or by virtue of the laws of this state, or of any other state, government or country, who, within this state, willfully signs or procures to be signed, with intent to issue, sell or pledge or to cause to be issued, sold or pledged, or who willfully issues, sells or pledges or causes to be issued, sold or pledged, any false or fraudulent certificate or other evidence of the ownership or transfer of any share or shares of the capital stock of such corporation or association, whether of full paid shares or otherwise, or of any interest in its property or profits, or of any certificate or other evidence of such ownership, transfer or interest, or any instrument purporting to be a certificate or other evidence of such ownership, transfer or interest, the signing, issuing. selling or pledging of which has not been duly authorized by the board of directors or other managing body of such corporation or association having authority to issue the same, is guilty of forgery in the second degree.
§ 7426. Same. Reissuing canceled certificates. Every officer, and every agent of any corporation or joint stock association
