Be it further enacted by the Authority aforefaid, That all Yarns called Worfted- Yarns, J!|^*"^^'l Yarns,

and fuch other Yarns as are commonly ufed by the Worfted- Weavers, fliall be made without Fraud, and °'" ° ^""^ *"

' fhall be reeled on a Reel of a full Yard about, and every Reel-ftafF fhall contain fourteen Leas, and every

make a Grofs : And in Cafe any Perfon or Perfons fhall fell or expofe to fale, any of the faid Yarns made and reeled in any other Manner than as is aforefaid; that then every fuch Perfon or Perfons fhall forfeit the Moiety of the Value of the faid Yarns to the Ufe of the faid Trade and Manufadtu: es, after Charges of ■ - '• Suit and of Profecutionfirft deduced out of the fame; which Forfeiture fhall be recovered by AcTion of , Debt, Bill, Plaint, Indiftment or Information, in any of the King's Majefty's Courts of Record, wherein ' no Wager of Law, EfFoin or Protedion fliall be allowed for the Defendant. And that it fliall and may be lawful to and for the Wardens and Affiftants of the faid Trade and vie-x-andSearcli Manufadures or any Two of them, from Time to Time to view and fearch in all Fairs and Markets and ^ll'nuTa^'iSr"'^ other publick Places of Sale of Yarns within the faid City of Norwich and County of the fame, and County in pl'i.rand" oi Norfolk, and either of them, all Yarns which fliall be there expofed to Sale; (2) and fuch of the faid MaiUets. Yarns as they fhall find defei'tive, contrary to the Rules herein before fet, that then it fhall andmaybelaw- ftil to and for the fame Wardens and Affiftants or any Two of them, to feize the fame Yarns, and bring the fame within twenty Days next after the Seizure thereof, to Trial by a Jury, and to be proceeded in and fined in fuch Manner and Form' as in this prefeatA6tis limited and appointed for defedive Stuffs; • - ■■■ which faid Jury fliall have and hereby have Power to fet fuch Fine or Fines upon the faid arns, as they fliall in their Difcretions fee Caufe; the fame Fines not to exceed the Moiety of the Yarn fo found de- fc<5live; (3 ) and the fame Fines to go to the Poor of the fame Trade and Manufadure as aforefaid. . IX. Provided always. That no Penbn or Perfons fliall be doubly puniflied for any one Offence touch- ing Yarns (that is to fay) by this and the former Claufe in this AiK X.
