Goods may he ex- ported from New Rofs.' Penalty on Com- miffioner or Offi- cer of the Cu- floms, (^c. Barge, or Boat, of what Kind foever, or wherefoever found or difcovered, wherein any of the aforefaid Commodities fhall happen to be fhipped or put on board, contrary to the true Intent and Meaning of this Aft; and that fuch Perfon or Perfons that fhall happen fo to feize, take, or fecure any of the Commodi- ,ties aforefaid, or any fuch Ship, Veffel, Hullc, Barge, or Boat, as aforefaid, fhall be indemnified for fo doing, to all Intents and Purpofes. V. And be it further ena£t:ed by the Authority aforefaid, That for every Ship or VefTel, which from and after the faid i^our and twentieth Day of June fhall fet out and fail from the faid Kingdom oi Ireland, in order to export or carry ofF any of the Commodities aforefaid to this Kingdom, Bond fhall be given by- two fuiRcient Perfons, known Inhabitants of and refiding in or near the Place where the Bond is or fliall be given, to the chief Officers of the Cufloms, belonging to the faid Port or Place in the faid Kingdom of Ireland, from whence the faid Ship or VefTel fhall fet Sail, in double the Value of any the aforefaid Goods, intended to be tranfported as aforefaid, before the faid Ship or Veflel fhall be permitted to lade on board any of the Commodities aforefaid, with Condition that if the faid Ship or VefTel fhall lade or take on board any of the faid Goods, in the Kingdom of Ireland, that then and in fuch Cafe all the faid Goods fhall be brought, by the fame Ship or VeiTel, to fome Port or Ports within the Kingdom oi England, or the Dominion oi Wales, as aforefaid, and fhall there unlade or put on fhore the fame, and pay the Cufiom and Duties thereof, the Danger of the Seas only excepted. And that every Ship or Veffel, which fhall lade or take on board any of the faid Goods, until fuch Bond be given, fhall be forfeited, to be recovered and employed in Manner as aforefaid. VI. And for the more efTedlual Execution of the Powers granted by this Aft ; be it enacted by the Au- thority aforefaid. That a Regifter be kept at the Cuftom-houfe in London, of all the aforefaid Goods, from Time to Time imported from Ireland, into any of the Ports within this Kingdom, or Dominion of Wales, with the particular Qualities and Qiiantities thereof, the Mailer's and Owners Names, and to whom configned. y 11. And be it further enabled by the Authority aforefaid. That all Cockets and Warrants for the car- rying or tranfporting of any of the aforefaid Goods, from the Kingdom of Ireland, to any Port or Ports aforefaid, within this Kingdom, fliall be written upon Paper, and not Parchment, and figned by three of the chief Officers of fuch refpeftive Port at leaft, and all Certificates of landing the fame in any the Ports aforefaid, within this Kingdom, or Dominion of Wales, fhall be figned in like,Manner ; and that all the Goods aforefaid, both at fhipping and landing, fhall be viewed and examined by the Surveyor or Searcher, or Land-waiter, attending the fhipping or Difcharge of any the aforefaid Goods ; and that the exa6t Quantities and Qualities, Marks, and Numbers of the Goods aforefaid, fo fhipped in Ireland, fhall be particularly expreffed and indorfed upon the Cocket, by which the faid Goods are or were to be fhipped, and likewife upon the Warrant for landing the fame in England, arui alfo upon the Certificate or Certifi- cates, given or to be given, for difcharging the Bond or Bonds taken in Ireland for the fame. Vlll. And be it further enaded by the Authority aforefaid. That ,the Commiffioners of the Revenue, orFurtiiers of the Cuftoms, or of the Revenue of the Kingdom of Ireland, for the Time being, fhall from Time to Time, and at all Times hereafter, once within every fix Months, or within thirty Days after the End thereof, tranfmit or caufe to be tranfmitted unto the Commiffioners or Farmers of his Majefty's Cuftoms in England, of all fuch Goods as aforefaid, as fhall from Time to Time be exported from the faid Kingdom of Ireland, the Qualities and Quantities thereof, and Duplicates of the Bonds taken for lading the fame, and by whom and in what Ships exported, and where and to what Port in the Kingdom of England, or Dominion of Wales, configned, and the Names of the Perfons figning the Certificates of the landing the fame in England, and the Date of the faid Certificates, and where the fame are or were laden, and alfo of the Qualities and Qiiantities, Marks, and Numbers contained in the faid Certificates, in order that the fame may be compared with the regiftred Account, appointed by this Act to be kept by the Commiffioners or Farmers of the Cuftoms of this Kingdom. _IX. And for preventing the Mifchief of raifing, obliterating, or interlining fuch Certificates, as afore- faid ; be it enafted by the Authority aforefaid. That all fuch Certificates fliall be written upon Paper, and not Parchment, and that the Quantities and Qualities, Marks, and Numbers therein expreffed fhall not be obliterated or interlined upon any Pretence whatfoever. X. A.nd be it further enacfted by the Authority aforefaid. That all fuch Goods as aforefaid, as fhall from Time to Time be exported from the faid Kingdom of Ireland, into the Ports of this Kingdom, or Dominion of Wales,^ in Manner as aforefaid, fhall be fhipped ofi^ and entered at the Ports of Dublin, Wa- terford, Youghall, King/ale, Cork, and Drogheda, in the faid Kingdom of Ireland, and at or from no other Port or Place within the faid Kingdom ; nor fhall the fame be imported into any Parts of the Kingdom of England, or Dominion of Wales, other than the Ports of Biddtford, Barnjiable, Mimhead, Bridge-water, Brijlol, Milford Haven, Chejier, and Liverpool; any thing in this Aft to the contrary thereof in any wife notwithftanding. XL A.nd to the Intent and Purpofe that this Aft may more efFeftually be put in Execution, for pre- venting the growing Mifchiefs that daily do or may arife to this Kingdom, from theExportat;on of fuch Goods as aforefaid, or any of them, out of the Kingdom of Ireland, fhould the fame flill be fuflPered to be fent from thence to fupply the foreign Markets, that are or have been fupplied froin England; be it fur- ther enafted by the Authority aforefaid. That if any Commiffioner or Commiffioners, Farmer or Farmers of the Revenue of Ireland, or Officer or Officers employed under them in the Management of the faid Re- venue^ there, fhall, from and after the faid Four and twentieth Day of June,_X.7^& or fuffer to be taken any Entry outward, or_ fign any Cocket, Warrant or Sufferance, for the fhipping and exporting any fuch Goods, as aforefaid, into any Kingdom, State, or Dominion whatfoever (except as aforefaid} o-r ihall
