Forfeited Eftates, fubjeft to Debts or Incumbrances, &c. may be fold. Perfons pofTefTed of any Lands, &c, vcfted in the Trufiees, fhall give an Account thereof. Penalty. How Fines, Js'f. {hall be fued for. No Proteflion, bV. fliall hinder rrofecution. Trufbees not accountable for any Rents, fife, of the faid Eftates. Purchafers of any forfeited Eftates fince 13 February 1688. difcharged of fuch Part of the Pur- chafe-money unpaid. Allowance to fuch Purchafers as fhall prove Payment of their Money, i^c. Truftees to certify the Proportions, ^c. No Allowance to be made to Purchafers, who by Perception of Profits have been fatisfied their Purchafe-money. Perfons having received fuch Purchafe-money, liable to pay the Surplus. Such as have entred on any forfeited Eftates, without Grant thereof, iliall anfwer the Value of the Profits, l^c. or forfeit. But difcovering the fame, fhall be difcharged, is'c. The faid Eftates not charged with Arrears of Rent, i^c. during the late War in Ireland. Defaulters not claiming their Right, Ij^c. to the faid forfeited Eflates, ^c. Rent, ^c. to be paid into the Ex- cliequer, or in Default forfeited. In cafe of Death furviving Truftees to execute this A£t. Debentures, Tallies, $5V. fhall be taken as Sterling Money in purchafing the faid Eftates. Intereft fhall be allowed on the Tallies, ^c. Debentures, ISc. fo taken in, fhall be regiftred, and cancelled, and an Account thereof tranfmitted to the Exchequer in England. Allowance of 1500/. per Annum to each of the faid Truftees, payable- quarterly. Officers, &V. who have taken Grants of forfeited Eftates in lieu of Ar- rears, i3°f. and releafed his Majefty, fhall be intitled to fuch Arrears, ISc. as if not releafed. Truftees may convey Church Livings forfeited, to fuch Truftees as the Bifhop of the Diocefe fhall nominate, i3c. Provifo for a Grant of 1500/. for Repair of Churches in Limerick. And for the Grant of the Earl of Romney, he. And for the King's Grant to Colonel Richard Gorges., &c. Charles Lord Balti- more being outlawed by Miftake may reverfe the fame, i^c. Provifo for Edward Gohegan. Claufe for felling the forfeited Eftate of William late Earl of Limerick, &c. Lady Kenmare and her Children, and the Wife of Dudly Bagnal, not to be prejudiced ; nor Anne Wife of Chrijlopher late Lord Slane, of her Jointure, ISc. nor Sir Thomas Prendergaji, or Francis de la rue Efquire, Provifo for Grants made to Dr. John Lefiie, John Baker, and James Roch, for eminent Services, &c. And for faving the Grant, i^c. to Sir Chrijlopher Wandesford from the Natives of Idough, &c. and the Grant in Trufl- for the Children of Sir Charles Barter. Debts or Monies owing to Perfons attainted, payable by Ja?nes Duke of Or?nondy &c. remitted. Provifo for the Portions and Maintenance of the Daughters of Sir Valentine Brown, Sic. Provifo for 6000/. among the Daughters of Calaghan Earl of Clancarty, &c. Provifo for Dora^/Jy Ba- ronefs Dowager of Upper OJfory, &c. Comrniffioners of this Act flaall be Commiffioners for the A£t on Marriages, Births, and Burials, and for the Duties on Houfes, during the Continuance of thofe Ads. CL. And be it enaiSted by the Authority aforefaid, That no Member of the Houfe of Commons, in this prefent or any future Parliament, during the Time of his being a Member of Parliament, fhall from and after the faid four and twentieth Day of June one thoufand feven hundred, be capable of being a Commifiioner or Farmer of the Duty of Excife upon Beer, Ale and other Liquors, or of being a Com- miffioner for determining Appeals concerning the faid Duty, or controlling or auditing the Account of the faid Duty, or of holding or enjoying in his own Name, or in the Name of any other Perfon in Truft for him or for his Ufe and Benefit, or of executing by himfelf or his Deputy, any OfSce, Place or Employment, touching or concerning the farming, collefting or managing the faid Duty of Excife. CLI. And be it further enafted. That if any Member of the Houfe of Commons in this prefent or any future Parliament, during the Time of his being a Member of Parliament, fhall at any Time after the faid four and twentieth Day of June, by himfelf or his Deputy, or any other in Truft for him, or for his Benefit, take, enjoy or exe:cute any Office, Place or Employment, touching or concerning the Such Perfons in- farming, managing or collefting the faid Duty of Excife, or determining Appeals concerning the faid ■capable of fitting Duty, or Controlling or auditing the Accounts of the fame, fuch Perfon is hereby declared and enacSted to ...u.TT . ^^ abfolutely incapable of fitting, voting or acting as a Member of the Houfe of Commons in fuch Parliament. CLII. Provided always, and be it hereby declared. That nothing herein before contained fhall extend, or be conftrued to extend (during the Continuance of this Parliament) to the difabling any Perfon, at prefent a Member of the Houfe of Commons, from being concerned in the managing, fanning or col- ledting the faid Duties of Excife, or in determining Appeals concerning the fame, or in controlling or auditing the Accounts thereof, fo as fuch Perfon fhall not, after the faid four and twentieth Day of June one thoufand feven hundred, lit, vote or a£l in the faid Houfe ; any thing herein before contained to the contrary notwithftanding. CLIII. And be it further enabled by the Authority aforefaid. That if any Tenant of his Majefty is or fhall be hereafter, by Negleit or Miftake, returned into his Majefty's Court of Exchequer, for any ^^ _^ ^^.ui,.. Tenant's Name upon the feveral Rolls where fuch Rent is charged, fo that the faid Rent, by NegleiSl or Miftake returned into the Exchequer as aforefaid, ,Jliall be no more given in Charge to any Sheriff whatfoever.
