D. 173 r. and ten Pence and one fifth , Part of a Penny, for the Year ended at Michaelmas cne thoufand feven hundred and thirty ; and any Sum or Sums of Money, not exceeding five hundred ten thoufand four , ,. hundred Pounds to di (charge fuch Exchequer Bills as remain uncancelled, which were madfe» forth in Piirfuance of an Act of the third Year of his Majefty's -Reign, and were to be repaid out'ot'-the rirft Aids or Supplies to be granted in Parliament, after the twenty -ninth Day of September one thoufand feven hundred and thirty, and, until fuch Supplies fhould be granted, were charged upon fuch Surplus Monies or Savings, as from and after the twenty-fifth Day of March one thoufand feven hundred and thirty Ihould arife into the Exchequer from the feveral Duties and Revenues then charged with the Annuity or yearly Fund of one hundred and fixty thoufand Pounds, payable to the United Company of Merchants of E?igland trading to the Eaft-Indies ; and any Sum or Sums of Money, not exceeding ten thoufand Pounds, towards the Maintenance of the Britijh Forts and Settlements belonging to the Royal African Company of England, on the Coaft of Africa. Thefe Supplies XL VIII. And be it enacted, That the faid Aids or Supplies, provided as aforefaid, (hall not be ifiued not to be uTued or applied to any Ufe, Intent or Purpofe whatfoever, other than the Ufes and Purpofes before rr.cnticn- Uf e any ° ther ec *' or ^ or t ie f e ^ era ' Deficiencies or other Payments, directed to be fatisfied thereout, by any parti- cular Ciaufe or Claufes for that Purpofe contained in any other Act or Ails of this prefent Sellion of Parliament. XLIX. And as to the faid Sum of fixty-one thou and one hundied and fifty-eight Pounds fifteen Shillings and ten Pence, by this Act appropriated on Account of Half-pay as aforefaid ; it is hereby Rules to be oh- enacted and declared by the Authority aforefaid, That the Rules herein after prefcribed (hall be duly •cation of the '" obferved in the Application thereof; that is to fay, that no Perfon (hall have or receive any Part of the Half-pay. fame, who was a Minor and under the Age of (ixteen Years, at the Time when the Regiment, Troop or Company, in which he ferved, was reduced; that no Perfon (hall have or receive any Part of the fame, except fuch Perfons who did actual Service in fome Regiment, Troop or Company ; that no Perfon having any other Place or Imployment of Profit, Civil or Military, under his Majefty, (hall have or receive any Part of the faid Half-pay ; that no Chaplain of any Garifon or Regiment, who has any Ecclefiaftical Benefice in Great Britain or Ireland, (hall have or receive any of the faid Half-pay ; that no Perfon (hall have or receive any Part of the fame, who hath refigned his Commiffion, and has had no Commiilion fince ; that no Part of the fame (hall be allowed to any Perfon by virtue of any War- rant or Appointment, except to fuch Perfons who have been otherwife intitled to the fame as reduced Officers ; and that no Part of the fame (hall be allowed to any of the Officers of the five Regi- ments of Dragoons, and eight Regiments of Foot lately difbanded in Ireland, except to fuch as were lately taken off the Eftablifihment of Half-pay in Great Britain. ' L. And whereas by an Act of Parliament made in the third Year of his Majefty's Reign, inti-
