Provided always, and be it enadied, T'hat the Militia of the Ifland of Purbeck fhall remain fepa- beck. is to be fe- rate from that of the County of Dorfet^ as heretofore has been ufed ; and the Number of Militia Men to parate from that ^e raifed for the faid Ifland fhall be eighty, Part of fix hundred and forty appointed by this AGt to be Dovil'7Tdf;o raifed for the County of Dcrfet, with the County of the Town of Poole, with a Field Officer, and other- Kienaic to raifed P'oper Officers ; and the fiiid Ifland ihall, as to all the Purpofes of this A£t, be confidered as if it were therein, with a a diftiniSt County of itfelf; and all the Powers given and Provifions made by this Act with refpect to F.eld Officer, &c. Counties, and the Militia tliereof, fhall take Place and be in Force with refpect to the faid Ifland and the. Militia thereof, except only as to the feveral Particulars herein exprefl'ed, and otherwife provided for; Three or more that is to fay. The Number of Deputy Lieutenants to be appointed for the faid Ifland fhall be three, or l^ll^l^- ^^""' more (if fo many duly qualified can be therein found) any two of which faid Deputy Lieutenants fhali- have and excrcife all the Powers conferred by this A£t on any three Deputy Lieutenants of any County, or on any two Deputy Lieutenants, toi'ether with any one Juftice of the Peace, or on any one Deputy Lieutenant, together with any two Juftices of the Peace of any County ; and the El^ates requifite for the Qualification of the Deputy Lieutenants and Officers of the Militia in the faid Ifland, fliall be as> follows; A Deputy Lieutenant and Field Officer fhall be feifed or pofTefled of fuch an Eftate, and in like Manner as is in this A6t before mentioned, as a Qualification for a Deputy Lieutenant, Colonel, or other.
