Be it further enacted by the Authority Houfes and aforefaid, That the Hiid ConimifTioners, or any five or more of them, foall have full Power and Autho- Grounds to be ^j^^ ^^ agree with the Owner or Owners, and Occupier or Occupiers, for the Purffhafe of the Freehold thatVurpofe °"^ and Inheritance of all and every fuch Building or Builings, Houfe or Houfes, Grounds and Eftates, as ' they the faid CommilTioners, or any five or more of them ihall think neceflary for them to be pofTefled of, or to be removed, rebuilt, pulled down, difpofed of, or employed for the Puipofes of this Act, com- prized within the Bounds and Limits following j that is to fay. Situate, Handing, lying or being upon, near or adjoining to the faid Way, Street or Avenue, on the Eafl: Side thereof, as far as a certain Mef- fuage or Building:, MelFuages or Buildings, now in the Occupation of Robert Taylor Statuary, his Un- dertenants or AHlgns, and abutting North on C(?<r-t/^«r <S/;Vi?/, and South on Spring Gardens; and alfo to purchafe and become pofi'eiTed of the Freehold and Inheritance of all fuch Buildings, Houfes, Grounds and Ellates, and of all Rent Charges, Annuities, Mortgages, Terms of Years, or Incumbrances whatfoever affecting the fame; any Thing in the faid feveral former Acts of Parliament, or any of them, contained to the contrary thereof in any wife notwithftanding.

  • III. And whereas it may happen that fome Peifon or Perfons, Bodies Politick, Corporate or Colle-

  • removed, pulled down, difpofed of, or employed by the faid Commiflioners, w ithin the Bounds and

That the faid CommilFioners, or any five or more of them, may take fuch ^^jj ^^^ may, in order to purchafe and become poffeffed of the feveral Buildings, Houfes, Grounds and ^ former A«s Efiates, to be purchafed by virtue of, and under this Act, take, ufe and follow all or any fuch Ways, they are impow- Means, Methods and Proceedings, and obferve fuch Rules and Directions, as by any Act or Acts of ered to do in like Parliament heretofore paffed in the Reign of his prefent Majefty, they are enabled to take, ufe, follow. Cafes. and obferve, in order to purchafe, or be poffeffed of any other Houfes, Grounds and Eftates; and that all and every the Powers and Authorities, Claufes, Rules, Forms and DirevSlions, prefcribed, men- tioned, expreffed and contained, in each and every of the faid A61 and h^s of Parliament heretofore paffed in the Reign of his prefent Majefty, in any wife relating to the faid Commiffioners purchafing or becoming pofieffed of any other Houfes, Grounds or Eftates whatfoever, or to any Body or Bodies Po- litick, Corporate or Collegiate, Corporations Aggregate or Sole, or any other Perfon or Perfons what- foever, felling, difpofing of, or conveying any Houfes, Grounds or Eftates, by any of the faid laft men- tioned A(Sl or Adls dire^ed to be fold, purchafed and conveyed; or for obliging the High Bailiff of JVe/i- vihijier to fummon Juries, and for obliging fuch Juries to affefs the Value of any fuch Houfes, Grounds or Eftates, or any Intereft therein, in cafe any Perfon or Perfons having or claiming to have any fuch Eftate or Intereft, (hall refufe to fell or convey the fame to the faid Commiflioners, or to manifeft a fuffi- cient Title thereto; or in cafe the Perfon or Perfons intitled to any fuch Eftate or Intereft therein, can- not be found, or to the difpofal, paying, depofiting, or vefting of any Sum or Sums of Money thereby direiSlcd to be difpofed of, paid, depofiteci or vefted, as the Confiderations for the Purchafe of, or Value affeiTed for any of the faid Houfes, Grounds or Eftates, or to the obliging Perfons to produce Title Deeds, Books, Papers or Writings, for Infpe£lion and Pcrufal, or to the obliging any Perfons to appear, and Claufes in thrfc- be examined on Oath as Witneffes; and every other Rule, Claufe, Matter and Thing, in each and to be made under and to become poffeiTed of, and to pull down and remove any of the Buildings, Houfes, Ciiounds and this Act. Eftates within the Bounds and Limits mentioned and prefcribed in this prefent A6t; and ftiall extend, and be in all rcfpcits deemed and conftrued to extend, to all and every the faid laft mentioned Buildings, Houfes, Grounds and Eftates, and to all Bodies Politick, Corporate and Collegiate, Corporations Ag- gregate and Sole, Femes Covert, and their Huft^ands, Truftees, and Feoftees in Truft, Guardians and Cummittees for Lunaticks and Ideots, f.xecutors,' Adminiftrators, and all other Truftees and Guardians, whether for Eemes Covert, Infants, Iffue unborn, or other Celluique Trufts, or for any charitable or other Ufe or Ufes; and to all other Perfons whatfoever having or claiming to have, cither in their own Right or otherwife howfoever, ajiy Eftate, Right, Title or Intereft, in, to or out of the faid laft men- tioned Buildings, Houfes, Grounds and Eftates; and to the Methods and Proceedings, for conveying and abfolutely ifluing the fame to the faid Commiffioners or their Truftees, with good Eitles, ufual and rt-afonable Covenants, and free from Incumbrances; and for barring, docking, and cutting off all Eltates Tail, Dower, and Right t)f Dower; and alfo to bar the Right of all and every I'erfon and Per- fpns, who Ihall not enter their faid Claim or Claims, and profecute the fame with Eftedt, in the Manner, and v/ithin tiie Times prefcribed and limited by the laid Acls of ParliamenL, or fome or one of them, as
