Avjthin 6 Mcnths, tVie Bill is to be re- t«rned ro the I'reafurer of the the fame on the Back thereof} which Bill fo paid, upon being produced and delivered, together with ,thc Duplicate thereof, at the Navy Olfice, ihall be immediately aliigned for Payment by three or more Com- milTioners of the Navy i and (hall be immediately repaid by the Treafurer of the Navy, to fuch Receiver General of the Land Tax, Colledor of the Cuftoms, CoUedtor of the Excife, Cleric of the Cheque, or to the Order of any fuch Receiver General, Collector of the Cuftoms, Colle6lor of the Excife, or Clerk of the Cheque refpectively : But in cafe the Duplicate of fuch Bill fhall not be produced and delivered, and the Payment thereof be demanded, within fix Calendar Months from the Date thereof, or if a proper Cer- tificate of the Perfon claiming to be the Wife, Father or Mother of fuch Officer or Seaman, be not like- wife produced, then the faid Receiver General, Collector of the Cuftoms, Collector of the Excife or Clerk of the Cheque, fhal! return fuch Bill to the Treafurer of the Navy, at the Pay Office of the Navy, who fhall caufe fuch Bill to be immediately cancelled ; and from and after the cancelling thereof, the Sum con- tained in fuch Bill fhall accrue and become payable to fuch inferior Officer or Seaman for whofe Wages or Pay it was made out, or to his Executors or Adminiftrators, or to the refpe6tive Attorney or Attornies of fuch Officer or Seaman, his Executors or Adminiftrators, demanding the fame, and duly authorized as is herein after directed, without any Fee, Reward or Deduction whatfoever, when the Wages or Pay due up- on fuch Ship or Vefl'el fh:.li be paid, in the Manner prefcribed by this ACi. Navy and cancelled ; and the Money to be paid to the Seaman, &c. when the Ship is paid. XIV. And, for the better enabling inferior Officers and Seamen, upon Payment being made to them of . their Wages or Pay in the Manner hereby before diredled, to remit any Part thereof to their Wives, Chil- dren or Parents, or to fuch other Perfon as they fhall judge proper ; Be it further enabled by the Authority- Bills to be made aforefaid. any Part thereof his Majefty's Dock Yards ; then, and in fuch Cafe, two Bills, being Duplicates, and joined together with to his Wife, obliquc Lines, Flourifhes or Devices, as aforefaid, fhall be immediately made out, numbered and dated.
